Client Confidentiality

IFG is committed to client confidentiality. We understand the legitimate financial needs of our clients, and we assure all those who contact us the privacy of their communications.

IFG is located exclusively in offshore jurisdictions with strict confidentiality laws. These laws require IFG - and all local bankers, lawyers, accountants, government officials and financial professionals - to maintain the identity and business of clients with utmost privacy. To divulge or obtain private client information is a criminal offense subject to heavy fines and imprisonment.

In keeping with the legal requirements of the jurisdictions in which we operate, IFG has established internal practices and procedures to ensure the privacy of our clients. All online communications are directed through a secured messaging system, and all correspondence is password protected, including fax, phone and mail. All electronic data are maintained in secured files on offshore Web servers. All paper files are kept under lock.

IFG never collects personally identifying information about you except when you specifically and knowingly provide it. We use personal information only to process your application and improve our service. IFG will never sell, trade or rent customer information.

Internet Security

Any time you enter an order or provide personal information on the IFG website (such as a Client ID or password), we encrypt that information using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. SSL uses 128-bit encryption and is the best software available for secure internet transactions. SSL software ensures encrypted information, including credit card numbers, name and address, will only be viewed by authorized persons.

How secure is 128-bit encryption? The amount of computer power required to decrypt a message with 128-bit encryption is 2 to the 88th power or 309,485,009,821,345,068,724,781,056 times greater than that which could be used to decrypt a 40-bit message!

Secure Browser Requirements

To support this technology, you will need an SSL-capable browser. IFG recommends using a strong encryption, 128-bit browser such as Netscape Navigator 4.7 or higher or Microsoft's Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher. These browsers will activate SSL automatically whenever you access your account.

If you don't have a browser that supports SSL, you can download one now.

Opening an Account Online

When you open an Account with IFG, you will be required to complete an online application form. On that form, you will be asked to provide your name, e-mail address, phone number, billing address, and payment information. You will also be asked to choose a password for secure access to the site in the future.

All personal information is collected on secure server software and used only for the purpose of completing your application.

Client Database

When you complete an online Account Application or subscribe to our news service, you become a member of our client database. This allows us to provide you with products you have requested and, with your permission, to send you occasional updates on site features, products or services.

To remove your name from our news service, simply send us an email at info@ifgnevis.com "unsubscribe" in the subject heading. To update contact information, email us on the Secure Client Message System.

Password Protection

Your Password is your private key into your IFG account. If you choose to complete an online application, you will be assigned a Client ID Number and asked to provide a Password of your choice. Once your account is opened, you must enter your Client ID and Password to access your account on our website. Your Password should never be shared with anyone. Never keep your Client ID and password in the same place. If you forget your Password, please e-mail us info@ifgnevis.com.

Secure Client Message Center

In order to ensure your security and confidentiality, IFG has developed a secure Message Center. Messages sent to us from within our Secure Message Center are protected with the same Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology we use to transmit private account information.
Please remember that any e-mail you send to us identifying your account should originate in the Client Message Center. The Message Center is especially designed to archive all of your account information, so that this sensitive information is not stored on your computer unless you choose to save it there.
